K2 blackpearl brings the leading .NET enterprise workflow solution building experience into the leading developer tool of choice. More than merely an Add-in, K2 blackpearl is fully immersed in the Visual Studio development environment providing developers with seamless access to C# / VB.net code, debugging, integrated enterprise workflow designer surfaces and the Visual Studio project system, including MS build. K2 blackpearl leverages the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, 4.0 and 4.5 (see table below for implications) while providing developers extensibility hooks into the same framework. Microsoft product investments, including the Office System, are exposed throughout the K2 blackpearl solution platform providing rapid integration opportunities for developers.
